A ideal spot for a peaceful, nature filled long weekend. A perfect trip away for the whole family with a cot and high chair little ones and dog friendly. The cottage and views were beautiful and extra touches like having the fire lit for our arrival and fresh eggs in the fridge were much appreciated. We'd love to return sometime.

Absolutely loved our stay, the cottage was lovely and clean, the view was spectacular and it was so peaceful and quiet. You just have to remember it is a little way out of a town so bring your groceries, we did a lot of sightseeing but would have been just happy to sit and look at the beautiful view. Thanks for sharing your property so people like us can stay there.

Wonderful house in an incredible location. The rolling hills and walk to the beach were fantastic. A little difficult to find but that just added to the fun. The grand kids LOVED the pool. The oldies LOVED the fire.

A beautiful cottage in a perfect location that allows dogs. Doesn’t get much better. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Definitely a place worth a second visit.

The house was sitting at a great vantage point offering excellent views. Inside the house os really well appointed and comfortable. Did get some pretty wet weather coming off the bite so just be ready for some storm watching (really impressive to watch) wood heater was great at keeping the house nice and warm. Also had a 4g mobile broadband system with decent speeds so that helped when you couldn't go outside. Good full kitchen for meals or about 40 minutes down to Apollo Bay for dinner. Also and cannot stress this enough, complimentary fresh farm eggs. Great place if you're looking for a nice break away from it all. Definitely a place worth a second visit.

too short a stay

Another visit for is to this property. Another relaxing stay with walks on the beach through the farm. We loved our stay again but too short this time but still relaxing as before and very private. We will definetly arrange to stay longer next time. Our stay was the farmhouse this time which had everything supplied to enjoy the stay, just supply your food and drinks and sit back and relax. Our dog Forbes loved the beach, the walk through the farm and the large yard to run in. A huge plus that the property is so pet friendly with one of the few dog friendly beaches along the great ocean road and a spectacular one too. Thanks for another great get away even though a short one this time.

We stayed at the Glen View cottage which was perfect. Fire was lit for us when we arrived and had everything you could need. We had spectacular views over the fields and to Johanna beach. We took our staffy and she loved running around the property. Would have loved to have stayed longer and will definitely go back.

Beautifully maintained farm grounds and cottage with everything you need. Well equipped and spacious kitchen. Homely and comfortable. Brilliant log fire on a cold and wet winters night warmed the entire house and made for a cosy evening indoors.
My dog was welcome and loved the freedom.

The reading material about the local area, history and geology was very interesting.
The chook house and vegetable garden accessible to guests was an added unexpected treat.

My stay at the Rivernook cottage was bliss. The location is gorgeous and the cottages are beautiful and well appointed. Everything I needed was there. I wish I could've stayed longer and will definitely be back.
It's great to find a pet friendly accommodation like this where we felt so welcome.

Views that make your mornings special and soothing. Our pet loved to jump and run around. Beautiful location and fully equipped. Very accommodating owners and quiet location. Our second visit in two years and many more to come.
